This directory contains preliminary attempts to create winxx variations on the xtoys programs. The Makefile is designed for the Cygwin port of gcc (available at http://sourceware.cygnus.com/cygwin/). For full featured programs and some documentation, see the X versions. The program "aulab.cc" with executable "aulab.exe" combines the Ising, forest fire, sandpile and totalistic CA models. Some documentation is in "aulab.txt".The "mandel" program shows another way to open a window and draw in it. The tarfile aulab.tar contains aulab.cc, aulab.txt, and the Makefile. Mike
