Ten ways to tell a quality ID

1. Agencies often identify themselves on the ID.
2. Scanning might show a magnetic strip, not just a black rectangle.
3. A real ID may have a bar code, not a bunch of random parallel lines.
4. Agencies often have well executed logos.
5. A good ID will have a hard-to-reproduce background.
6. A really good ID will have an imbedded integrated circuit, perhaps with biometric data.
7. Even better is a remotely readable RF tag.
8. The subject usually has both first and last names.
9. A nude subject is unusual.
10. Agencies rarely issue ID's to animals.
